Leadership Team (May 4 - Sept 5)
Male and Female Head Cabin Leader (1 Position each) $7000
- The Head Cabin Leaders are responsible for providing training, supervision, and assistance to our Summer Long Cabin Leader program and its participants. They will implement summer spiritual and leadership development for the Cabin Leaders. At times, they may fill in as a Cabin Leader.
Male and Female Junior Summer Staff Supervisor (1 Position each) $7000
- The Junior Summer Staff Leaders are tasked with the responsibility of providing training, supervision, and mentor-ship to our Junior Summer Staff program and its participants. They will help with general cleanup and preparation of the camp facilities during the Guest Group season as well as the Summer camping season.
Program Team (2 Positions) $7000
- The Program Team has the responsibility of providing assistance and support to our Director of Program & Development, specifically related to the running of weekly summer camps and special events. They will assist with advance crew duties in preparation for the summer camping season. They will provide a welcoming and exciting atmosphere for campers and volunteers while explaining games, leading activities and implementing the program theme.
Waterfront Supervisor (1 Position) $7000
- The Waterfront Supervisor provides training, supervision, and mentor-ship to our Lifeguard Team. They will set up instructional information for Lifeguards, and hold practice times. They will ensure the organization and cleanliness of all waterfront area’s. They will promote and ensure safety of all waterfront area’s, continually checking equipment.
Lifeguard and Program Support (3 Positions) $7000
- The Lifeguard and Program Support provides safety and security on the waterfront for campers and staff, specifically related to the running of weekly summer camps and special events. They will ensure all adhere to camp policies and procedures on the waterfront. They will also assist with advance crew duties to help prepare camp for the summer, and assist with the weekly program during the summer.
Videographer and Program Support (1 Position) $7000
- The Videographer and Program Support position fills the primary role of producing weekly videos for our campers during the summer months. They will film and edit footage, engage campers in a friendly way, and take photographs throughout the week. When program requires they will also assist or lead in filming and editing program videos.
Summer Secretary (1 Position) $7000
- The Summer Secretary has the responsibility of fostering good public relations and hospitality with all campers, volunteers, parents, visitors, and local residents. They will receive all camp registrations, respond to emails and phone calls. They will support weekly directors and office staff with their needs and duties.
Maintenance Assistant (1 Position) $7000
- The Maintenance Assistant provides assistance to the Maintenance Manager in keeping the facility running in good repair. They will maintain all lawns and landscaped areas, help with advance crew duties in preparing camp for the summer season, and help with emergency repairs as necessary.
Kitchen Assistant (1 Position) $3350 (May 4-June 29)
- The Kitchen Assistant supports the Food Services Coordinator, specifically related to the food preparation for our Guest Groups in the off season. (May and June) They will do meal prep and cooking as assigned, as well as Dining Room clean up, pots, and dishes, all while on a flexible schedule.
Summer Staff Team (June 29 - Sept 5)
Cabin Leader $2000 Volunteer Honorarium (June 29-Sept 5), or $1000 Volunteer Honorarium (for 4 weeks plus staff training week)
- New for 2020! The Summer Long Cabin Leader is volunteer position (eligible for an honorarium), with the responsibility of providing a fun, safe and wholesome camping environment and sharing the love of Jesus to campers. They are the main caregiver to their campers. They will ensure the emotional, spiritual, physical and mental health of a cabin of 12 campers. They will work alongside a co-cabin leader as a cohesive team. Summer Cabin Leaders APPLY HERE!
Lifeguard and Program Support (2 Positions) $3650
- The Lifeguard and Program Support provides safety and security on the waterfront for campers and staff, specifically related to the running of weekly summer camps and special events. They will ensure all adhere to camp policies and procedures on the waterfront. They will also assist with the weekly program during the summer.
Store Manager and Program support $3650
- The Store Manager oversees the tuck shop and merchandise shop. They will track inventory, reorder supplies, make sure things are well stocked, and help organize both areas. They will also assist with the weekly program during the summer.
Junior Summer Staff (Must attend staff training week)
- Session 1: July 5 - July 31
- Session 2: Aug 2- Aug 28
- Session 3: Senior Teen Aug 30 - Sept 4
- This volunteer opportunity allows applicants 16 and older to serve along summer staff for multiple weeks during the summer. Those who are accepted into the 4 week program will also receive an additional week of training during Staff Training Week. See here for more information on this program and to APPLY.
Wildside
Wildside Guide (2 Positions) $7000 (May 4 - Sept 5)
- Wildside Guides assists and supports the Wildside Director, specifically related to the running of weekly summer camps and Guest Groups. They will assist the Wildside Director by leading hikes, helping with belaying, rappelling, caving, canoing and camping.
Wildside Guide (1 Position) $3650 (June 29 - Sept 5)
- Wildside Guides assists and supports the Wildside Director, specifically related to the running of weekly summer camps. They will assist the Wildside Director by leading hikes, helping with belaying, rappelling, caving, canoing and camping.
